Material Selection

Particle Board, Mdf And Plywood Are Three Widely Used Cabinet Carcass Materails.

Particle Board

Particle board consists of layers of wood particles mixed with resins or binders formed under heat and pressure to create a sturdy panel ideal for every day applications. It is most selected material for kitchen carcass for it’s low cost performance.

Medium-density fibreboard(MDF)

Medium-density fibreboard(MDF) is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres, often in a defibrator, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure. It is widely used for wardrobe carcass for it’s dense and strong feature.

Plywood

Plywood is a material manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another. Plywood is the most expensive box material usually used for solid wood kitchen frame for it’s High Strength, Resists Heat & Humidity.
